Hi, well lets just say after 2 viability scans and two 4d sessions at bumps clinics i really have been able to bond with my baby before he is even born.

The whole process was made so simple and stress free that it made it a truly memorable occaison which i will treasure forever, the helpfull staff only made it even more of an amazing expierience.

When we arrived for our 4d scan I was a little bit nervous as I didn't know what to expect. My heart was beating fast and we were called for our appointment. One of the reasons for having the scan was to confirm the sex of our baby. We already have 2 great boys and I was now pregnant with our 3rd and last child. We were told at our local NHS hospital we were having a girl but there was still this doubt. Could they have got it wrong? What happens today if they tell me its a boy? All of these things were going through my head, I felt sick.... We also wanted to make the most of the latest technology to have a 4d scan.

As I lay on the couch looking at the screen, I could see our baby moving about and sucking it's thumb. The sonographer asked if we wanted to know the sex of the baby and we said yes. We told her we thought it was a girl and she said lets confirm. But the baby had it's legs crossed and typical I thought. Then all of a sudden she said it's a girl!!! It's 98% certain. By this time I cried. "What's the problem said the sonographer"? There isn't, I said. I was just so pleased to confirm again, it's a girl. My husband was getting all chocked up too. I never thought I would have a girl, after having 2 lovely boys. Only a close friend of mine and my husbands parents knew we were having a girl. While I was pregnant we never referred to the baby as "her". We wanted it to be a surprise.

We went away very pleased and I cried again on our way home. To see the baby in so much detail before she was born was great. To see her moving, sucking her thumb and sleeping was such an experience. We will never have that chance again.

Our lovely daughter (Isabelle) was born on the 24th November at 22.30 with a planned excellent home birth. She arrived 2 weeks early, but that was nothing to be expected as the boys were early too. It took a good few minutes after she was born to stay "Is it a girl"? I tried to feel with my hand, but wasn't sure. The midwife lifted the towel. "It's a girl," she said and we all cried again.... We now have 2 great boys and our baby girl.

A few days after Isabelle was born, I got out the scan pictures and it looks very much like Isabelle in the flesh.

Having my Gold 4D scan was the most special part of my pregnancy, to be able to see my baby in so much detail and see her moving was so special.

Then to be able to show people pictures and for me to look at the pictures and the DVD over and over again will be so memorable.

When she is older she will be able to see how special she was from the start.

Our 4D scan experience at Bumps was so wonderful we cried with joy! When we first saw the image of our little one’s face, our hearts were filled with happy giggles. The staff were entirely friendly and excitable at Bumps, which encouraged the whole event. The price of the 4D scan included more than we needed of images that we will cherish for a lifetime!

I am so glad I did research to find the best place to have our 4D scan done.

Bumps had many locations to choose from, and the nearest 4D scan centre to our home. With our 4D images we also purchased the moving DVD of the ultrasound. I now show the DVD to everyone who visits and I watch it on my own all the time.

Dear all the Staff at Hill Top Medical Centre,

When I received the phone call to say that we had won the Bumps Caption Competition at the NEC Baby show I couldn’t believe it. Never winning any competitions in my life, to win this chance to see our first baby 4D was just brilliant!

On the day of the scan we were really excited. The staff at the Bumps Medical Centre were very welcoming and friendly. The scan was amazing; being able to see our babies face, little arms and legs before it is born was overwhelming.

The scan pictures will be something we will both treasure forever and will be great to show our baby when it’s older.

The whole experience was wonderful and we are very grateful to be given this chance. We would like to thank all of everyone at Hill Top Medical centre for making this a lovely and memorable occasion and we will definitely be visiting again if we decide to have anymore children in the future.
